Recently, we completed a job for the Mann family in Washougal, Washington. Their prefinished Brazilian Cherry flooring appeared worn, dull, and in need of a refinish. The Mann’s were uncertain that the floors could be refinished, but I assured them that these floors can be refinished, though it takes a little extra effort. The floor boards have to be sanded down a little deeper than usual to get the beveled grove sanded flat with the board and the prefinished aluminum oxide coating requires more effort to sand them down. We refinished the floors and made them look like they were always meant to be finished in place wood! Our clients were very pleased!
